The long sought after Contextual relevance as so craved by both the advertiser and the consumer, i.e. Adidas shoe ads alongside Run-D.M.C.'s "MyAdidas" music video.

I am hooked on Amazon now, can't imagine I'll be able to pull myself away...ever.

We are surrounded by advertising, telling us that buying will make us happy. We are encouraged by politicians to spend as a way of boosting the economy. And we all want to have what those around us have –- consumerism has become a measure of our social worth. (Hartney, 2013)
